Yucca Shala will host the monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery Phukang as part of their Sacred Harmony World Peace Tour. Through sacred chanting, art, and teachings, the monks offer powerful experiences that inspire peace, healing, and compassion within our community.

Suggested donation for events $20-$25. All are welcome, nobody turned away for lack of funds.

Friday, May 8th 10 AM ~ Chanting Tea Ceremony ~ A sacred practice of gratitude and blessings, offering thanks to all beings.

Friday, May 8th 6 PM ~ Karma Buddhist Teaching ~ Learn how actions shape our lives and cultivate awareness.

Saturday, May 9th 10 AM ~ Tonglen Meditation ~ A compassion practice where we breathe in suffering and transform it into healing and love led by Ven. Geshe Kalsang

Saturday, May 9th 6 PM ~ Chey Drol ~ A ceremony to remove obstacles, where participants symbolically release negative patterns using rainbow threads.

Sunday, May 10th 12 PM Mother’s Day ~ Momo’s for Mama’s ~  In celebration of Mother’s Day, the monks will lovingly prepare traditional Tibetan Momo’s for all the mamas to enjoy. Space is limited please RSVP 775-586-9125 Non refundable $35 per person payment is due upon reservation.

Sunday, May 10th 6 PM ~ White Tara Blessing/Puja ~ A ceremony of compassion, healing, and long life honoring the nurturing energy of mothers.
