Broomfield Man Killed Nephew With Ax, Say Police
The details are included in an affidavit. Prosecutors had argued against its release.

The Broomfield man who was arrested last month and charged with killing his four-year-old nephew at a home on West 126th Avenue used an ax, according to an affidavit unsealed Wednesday. Emanuel Joseph Doll, 25, is charged with first degree murder.
At the time, police would only say that Doll had caused his nephew "a massive amount of trauma" with detailing how.
Several Denver media outlets went to court to have the affidavit unsealed. Prosecutors had argued against it, saying it would have a chilling effect on witnesses and jurors.
