Colorado Coronavirus Cases By County: Friday April 24
Here's the latest breakdown of cases and deaths in each Colorado county.
According to government data posted Friday afternoon, 12,258 people were infected with the new coronavirus in Colorado among 56,789 people who have been tested since the outbreak began. There were 2,366 people hospitalized, and the death toll has reached 674.
The statewide stay-at-home order is set to end Sunday; however some counties — including Denver, Boulder, Jefferson, Arapahoe and Adams counties — have extended their stay-at-home orders through May 8.
"We can rebuild the economy," Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said in a news conference Friday. "What we can't do is replace lives lost."
