Colorado Governor's Getting Crowded As Cary Kennedy Announces

Her announcement comes one day after Rep. Ed Perlmutter, who represents Arvada in Congress, announced he is in the race. They join businessman Noel Ginsburg and former state lawmaker Mike Johnston in seeking the Democratic nomination.
Rep. Jared Polis, who represents Boulder, is also said to be considering entering the race.

On the Republican side, District Attorney George Brauchler announced last week.
Current Governor John Hickenlooper is being forced out by term limits. The election is in November 2018.
