Colorado Legislature May Be Called For Special Session

Governor Hickenlooper is considering calling a special session.

The Colorado Legislature wrapped up their session on Wednesday but their work may not be done. Governor John Hickenlooper said on Thursday that he is considering calling them back for a special session.

The governor says that while the session was "the most productive" - there is still work to be done on a variety of issues including transportation, health, and education.

He also expressed disappointment over legislators inability to reach compromise to fund the state's energy office, which usually gets $3 million a year.
