Colorado Man identified As Shooter Of Munich Officer
Officials say that the 37-year-old man suspected of shooting a police officer has been living with his father in Fort Collins.

A 37-year-old man who has been living with father in Fort Collins has been identified as the man who shot a police officer at a subway station in Munich, Germany on Tuesday. The officer, who was shot in the head, is said to be in critical condition, according to reports.
The man - identified as "Alexander B" - was in Europe on vacation and had flown to Munich from Athens, Greece the night before.

The Coloradoan reports that his name is Alexander Bischof and his parents run a Bavarian food stand. They reportedly met in Munich in 1972 where his mother had moved to work during the Olympics.
They moved to Colorado in 1994 and for a time ran a music school.

Munich officers had responded to the train after a report that Bischof had gotten into a fight with other passengers. During a struggle with officers, he grabbed a gun and shot one of the officers.
He was reportedly shot in the rear and taken into custody.
