Colorado Non-Profit Energy Outreach Gets High Marks

Organization that helps needy CO residents pay energy bills ranks 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator

From Energy Outreach CO: Today, Charity Navigator announced that Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) has attained their 17th consecutive 4-Star rating.

As stated in a letter from Charity Navigator, “This is our highest possible rating which indicates that your organization adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way. Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Energy Outreach Colorado exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work. Less than 1% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 17 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Energy Outreach Colorado outperforms most other charities in America.”

EOC is the only statewide nonprofit that raises funds to help thousands of qualifying Coloradans afford their home energy costs. By leveraging resources and partnerships, EOC helps stabilize households that include seniors, teachers, veterans, families and members of your community.
