Drake Middle School Teacher Who Committed Suicide Linked To Student Relationship
The Arvada teacher took her life on Tuesday, one day after being placed on administrative leave.
A teacher at Drake Middle School in Arvada took her own life Tuesday, one day after being placed on administrative leave. The district informed the teacher that she was being investigated for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The relationship allegedly started when the student - now a student at Arvada High School - had been attending Drake.
The district immediately placed the teacher on leave when informed of the allegations by Arvada Police.
