Aurora, Denver Voters Received Late Ballots: Sec. Of State
USPS didn't deliver 828 replacement ballots to voters until Nov. 5, the Colorado Secretary of State said.
The Colorado Secretary of State's Office was notified Friday that the United States Postal Service didn't deliver 828 replacement ballots to Denver and Aurora voters until Nov. 5, state officials said.
"USPS did not notify our office of this issue, even though they were aware of the problem," the Secretary of State's Office said in a statement. "The USPS has failed to adequately deliver ballots, and as such, we are exploring regulatory and legislative options to prevent this from happening in the future."
The office said officials are "hopeful that all of these voters participated in the electoral process."
