Morgan County Murders: Two Teens Arrested
Destiny McMinn and Santos Macias were found dead in abandoned buildings last month.

Two Fort Morgan teenage boys are under arrest, charged in the linked killings of Destiny McMinn and Santos Macias, who were found dead in abandoned buildings last month. The teens are both 17-years-old and their names have not been released.
The sheriff's office said that McMinn and Macias had last been seen together on March 22. He was reported missing on March 24th. She was reported missing on April 2. The sheriff's office has not elaborated on the relationship between them, how they were killed, or why they might have been killed.
The two were killed one place and then their bodies were left in separate locations, according to deputies.

Macias' body was found in the 19000 block of Highway 34 on April 17 and McMinn's body was found in the 9000 block of Road Q on April 23.

In addition to the sheriff's office, the case was being investigated with the assistance of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and police officers from Brush Prairie and Fort Morgan.
"This is still an active and ongoing investigation and no additional information will be released at this time," the sheriff's office said ina statement.
