Super Tuesday: Breakdown Of Colorado Ballots Returned

More than 1.8 million ballots have been returned so far in Colorado for the presidential primary. Here's a breakdown by party.

More than 1.8 million Coloradans had already returned their ballots to county clerks before Super Tuesday. The Colorado Secretary of State's office has been sending daily updates to let voters know how many ballots have been returned from each party.

As of Friday morning, 1,829,657 ballots had been returned. Our state is poised to lead the nation in primary voter turnout, the Colorado Secretary of State said. Voters from ages 18 to 34 came out in record numbers.

Democratic turnout has surpassed Republican turnout, with 37.3 percent of ballots returned coming from Democratic voters, 29.2 percent from Republican voters and 33.6 percent from Unaffiliated voters.
