Arvada Man Busted In Nebraska With $5M In Cannabis Products
A 39-year-old Arvada man was driving a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van erratically near Geneva, Nebraska when stopped by state troopers.

GRAND ISLAND, NE -- An Arvada, Colorado man seen driving erratically on a Nebraska highway was found to be transporting more than 1,850 pounds of illegal marijuana and cannabis products with a street value of $5 million, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
Michael Cardis, 39, was stopped by patrol officers Wednesday around 5:50 p.m. after allegedly driving a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van on the shoulder of Highway 81 in Fillmore County near Geneva, Nebraska. A narcotics-trained K9 dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs in the car.
Troopers found 1,853 pounds of marijuana, 8,779 doses of hash oil vape pens, and 46 pounds of loose hash wax in the vehicle. The marijuana was packaged in shrink wrap inside plastic totes.

Cardis was booked into a Nebraska jail and is facing multiple charges, including possession of more than one pound of pot, possession with intent to deliver, and no Drug Tax stamp.
