Man Charged With Murder In Connection With Arvada Shooting Death
Isiah Alexander Bennett, 24, is accused of killing his cousin outside a home in Arvada.

ARVADA, CO — A man is accused of shooting his cousin to death June 27 in Arvada.
Isiah Alexander Bennett, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder, the 1st Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Monday. He is being held without bond in the Jefferson County jail.
Arvada police were called to a home in the 7800 block of Marshall Street after neighbors heard gunshots and called 911.

Bennett and his cousin, 26-year-old Raymond Jutting, had been arguing, police said. Bennett was inside the house and Jutting was outside in the yard. The argument escalated through an open window in the house and Bennett pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at Jutting, according to an arrest affidavit.
Officers and personnel with the Arvada Fire Department tried to save Jutting's life but were not successful.
