Man Dies After Officer-Involved Shooting In Arvada
A man was armed with a knife when officers responded to a domestic disturbance call, police said.
ARVADA, CO — A man has died after an officer-involved shooting Wednesday in Arvada, police said. No officers were injured in the shooting.
Police were called to W. 56th Avenue and Newland Way around 10 p.m. after someone called about a domestic violence disturbance.
When the officers arrived, they tried to talk to a man, but he threatened them with a knife, according to the Arvada Police Department. The officers then shot the man, and he was pronounced dead, police said.
