• Arvada West boys soccer hangs on to win against Northglenn in season opener (coloradopreps.com) — Arvada West High School's boys soccer team opened its season with a tight 2-1 win over Northglenn at the North Area Athletic Complex after a long lightning delay. Senior leaders AJ Lopez and Solomon Jaynes provided the goals, while returning goalie Jacob Carpenter anchored the defense. The Wildcats now look ahead to a Thursday night matchup against Grandview at the NAAC.
