Retired Arvada Police Chief Takes Fort Collins Job

Former Arvada Chief Don Wick will head Northern Colorado security and law enforcement data analysis firm Numerica Corporation.

FORT COLLINS, CO -- Former Arvada Police Chief Don Wick couldn't stay retired for long. Wick, who stepped down in December after 10 years as Arvada's top cop, was just hired as Director of Operations at Numerica Corp. in Fort Collins, the company announced. The company works with the U.S. Dept. of Defense and local police departments to help analyze data.

“Numerica is extremely fortunate to have found someone with Don’s broad experience in working in government administration and law enforcement,” says Jeff Poore, President of Numerica, in a statement. “His skills in public safety, operations management, and organizational leadership will play a key role as Numerica continues to grow.”

Wick will run Numerica’s business lines, "including Lumen, Numerica’s law enforcement search, analysis, and data sharing platform that allows users to search and analyze data from disparate data sources," a statement said.
