Snow Storm Causes City Of Arvada Offices To Close Early

" ... residents and visitors are encouraged to avoid traveling in the hazardous conditions," Arvada officials said.

ARVADA, CO — All City of Arvada offices will be closing early Tuesday as the snow storm continues to cause dangerous roads. A National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon on Wednesday.

All city offices will be closing at 1 p.m. Tuesday and will re-open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.

"With increasing snow and near-record-low temperatures forecasted, residents and visitors are encouraged to avoid traveling in the hazardous conditions and avoiding exposure to cold temperatures," the City of Arvada said in an email. "If traveling during a snow event, the community is reminded to give snow plows a wide berth."
