Thornton New Outlet Mall To Hire 500: Job Fair Thursday

THORNTON, CO – The new, much-anticipated Denver Premium Outlets mall in Thornton will open Sept. 27, and more than 80 new shops will be looking to hire 500 good employees.

A job fair will be held Thursday, Aug. 16 at the Westin in Westminster.

Employers are offering full- and part-time positions in management, sales, guest services, security, housekeeping and customer service, the mall's developer, Indiana-based Simon, announced.

Employees should bring resumes and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews with mall hiring staff and staff from HR departments of the "premium brands" opening at the new mall. You can also register to win a $250 Simon gift card, just for applying.

Stores hiring will include:

Ann Taylor Factory Store, A|X Armani Exchange, Allied Universal Security Services, Banana Republic Factory Store, Blue Chip, BOSS-Hugo Boss, Christopher & Banks, Coach Outlet, Cole Haan Outlet, Gap Outlet, Guess Factory Store, LOFT Outlet, Merrell®, Nike Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, vineyard vines and Volcom, the company said in a press release.

The job fair will take place the Westminster Ballroom at the Westin, 10600 Westminster Blvd. between 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

The Denver Premium Outlets Mall is finishing a 330,000 sq. ft. complex at Interstate-25 and 136th Avenue, about 15 miles north of downtown Denver. The mall developers say the LEED-certified complex will feature public spaces "designed to be a community hub for the area, offering scenic grassy spaces to relax or picnic, architectural shade structures with comfortable soft seating arrangements, water features, a fireplace for chilly evenings and an interactive play experience for children."

Opening Day is Sept. 27, with special discounts and activities.
