Westminster Road-Rage Shooting: Fund Raises Donations For Family
Family started an online fund to raise money for Meghan Bigelow, 41, and her two sons, shot in Westminster Thursday. One teen died.

WESTMINSTER, CO – Family members of Meghan Bigelow, 41, the mother shot with two of her children after a Westminster "road rage" incident June 14, have started an online fundraiser to help the family pay for expenses. The online crowdfunding site has raised $80,000 in less than a day.
"Please help us in raising money for this incredible family as they are experiencing such are tragic time and have a long road of recovery ahead of them,"site organizer Abby McMaster wrote.
Jeremy Webster, 23, of Colorado Springs, allegedly used a Glock 19 handgun to shoot Bigelow and two sons multiple times, following the family after a "road rage" altercation about a mile away. The family was shot in the parking lot of a dentist office at 80th Avenue and Sheridan Road around 3:04 p.m., a police affidavit said. An unrelated man, 40, was also shot in both arms as he sat in his pickup truck with his young daughter, the affidavit said. Witnesses said the man appeared to make eye contact with Webster as the alleged shooter returned to his car.

Webster was taken into custody after a statewide search for his 4-door black Toyota that evening by Colorado State Patrol officers.
Vaughn Bigeolow, 13, died of his injuries, while mother Meghan and an eight-year-old brother remain in critical condition at a hospital, police said.

Webster was charged June 15 with two counts of first-degree murder and other charges. He is being held in the Adams County jail on no bail.
