• Avon council approves amendments to plans for Village (at Avon) development (vaildaily.com) — Avon Town Council has approved major amendments to the Village (at Avon) planned unit development, clearing the way for new infrastructure, community housing opportunities, and a planned Whole Foods. The deal with Traer Creek includes roughly $25 million in road and utility upgrades around East Beaver Creek Boulevard, Chapel Place, and Crescent Hill Road, directly affecting traffic, housing, and shopping options for Avon residents. 
• Western Colorado Roundabout Striping (codot.gov) — Roundabouts on I-70 and US 6 near Avon are scheduled for new recessed striping between April and June, improving visibility and safety for drivers. The work spans multiple western Colorado highways and towns, including Avon, with specific traffic impacts still to be announced. Residents should watch COtrip.org for lane closures or delays once schedules are posted.
