⢠Berthoud's John-of-all-trades: soldier, homesteader and mayor (berthoudsurveyor.com) ā Berthoudās early growth owes a lot to Civil War veteran John Calvin Shull, who became a homesteader, hotelier, theater builder, postmaster and even mayor here.
