Boulder County-Based Lucky's Market Closing Stores
The organic supermarket chain, which was founded in Boulder, is closing stores across the country.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — The Niwot-based grocery store chain Lucky's Market is closing dozens of stores across the country after Kroger announced it would sell off its stake in the chain. The majority of its store closures will occur in Florida, according to a report by the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Up to 32 of the chain's 39 stores could close in 10 states.
Lucky's Market, which was founded in Boulder in 2003 by Bo and Trish Sharon, was partially-owned by the Krogers supermarket chain beginning in 2016 — the same year Lucky's began its expansion into Florida.
