Boulder Falls Reopens Early After Repairs
Open Space and Mountain Parks officials are reminding hikers to stay on the trail and exercise caution.
BOULDER, CO — The City of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks Department has reopened Boulder Falls. Boulder Falls Trail, which is west of the city, has been closed throughout the summer while crews completed several trail repairs. Construction was originally expected to last until Sept. 6, however the work was completed early.
Additional stairs were built on the trail and rails were installed. The crews also completed fence construction along the highway.
"OSMP reminds visitors to exercise caution in the area and remain on trail while visiting this popular Boulder location," officials warned in a news alert.
