Boulder Sees Snowiest Snowfall Season On Record
Boulder's previous snowfall record was set 111 years ago.
BOULDER, CO — Boulderites have officially experienced the snowiest snowfall season on record after more than 11 inches of it were measured Thursday. The city's 2019-20 season has seen at least 146 inches.
The previous seasonal record, set in the 1908-09 snow season, was 142.9 inches.
A winter storm warning was issued Thursday for Boulder and the western metro Denver area.

"If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency," the National Weather Service said in the storm alert.
