July 4 Week Weather: Hot In Boulder, Chance of Thunderstorms
Weather should be good for July 4 fireworks celebrations, but thunderstorms are possible in and near Boulder.
BOULDER, CO – Weather for the week of Independence Day will be cooler than last week, with temps in the lower 90s and less dry wind – lowering the chance of grass fires in Boulder, the Front Range and the foothills.
July 4, the Big Day itself will be partly sunny with a high near 91 during the day, dropping to 61 overnight. The National Weather Service says Boulder will have a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms Wednesday during the day, dropping to a 10 percent chance at night.
