Boulder puts search for new automatic license plate reader provider on pause (dailycamera.com) — Boulder's city manager has paused the search for a new automatic license plate reader provider, leaving the city on a month-to-month contract with Flock while officials plan broader public engagement. With more than 40 Flock cameras already in town and a class-action lawsuit alleging illegal surveillance, residents can expect a high-stakes debate over crime-fighting tools, privacy and civil liberties.
3. Colorado Connector passenger rail could reach Boulder by 2029. Here's how the plan would work. (boulderreportinglab.org) — A new Colorado Connector passenger rail line could bring service through Boulder, Longmont and other Boulder County communities as early as 2029, without requiring a new local tax for its starter phase. Trains would run on existing RTD and BNSF tracks, easing traffic on US 36 and the Diagonal while potentially steering tens of millions of dollars to Boulder-area station improvements and better walking, biking and transit connections.

Greg Ames' retirement after 40 years of priesthood across Colorado.
