Barclay Shove, a senior at Fairview High School, is co-organizing the summit.
“Climate action calls for leadership from all of us. Current policymakers aren’t the ones who will face the biggest impacts. We are,” Shove said in a statement. “That’s why we think it is important to engage young people in the conversation about impactful solutions. Teens have great ideas. We want to hear them.”
