• Planned Parenthood to reopen in Glenwood Springs after temporary closure (aspenpublicradio.org) — Residents in Carbondale who rely on Planned Parenthood’s Glenwood Springs clinic will again have in-person care starting Oct. 5, after a two‑month closure caused by staffing shortages and renovations. Local patients had to seek contraception, STI testing, and abortion-related care elsewhere, straining nearby providers, but the upgraded clinic now has more exam capacity and is rehiring while it works to restore in‑person gender‑affirming hormone services later this month.
