The law temporarily freezes updated cost-of-living factors, slightly reducing expected gains for some Western Slope districts, and begins shifting how enrollment is averaged to smooth future funding changes. Centennial families are affected through statewide funding levels and policy changes.

• With Bo Nix recovering, Ehlinger aims to unseat Stidham as Broncos backup in OTAs (gazette.com) — Broncos practices at their Centennial headquarters this week will spotlight backup quarterback competition while starter Bo Nix continues recovering from ankle surgery. Local fans can also watch how new star receiver Jaylen Waddle, key rookies, and several defensive position battles begin to shake out during OTAs and the upcoming mandatory minicamp.
