• Colorado city bans some micro mobility vehicles from public spaces (cbsnews.com) — Centennial has immediately banned Class 3 e-bikes and e-motorcycles from city parks, open spaces, and trails, while tightening age and helmet rules. Deputies and neighboring Greenwood Village are stepping up education and enforcement, so local riders and parents should review the new restrictions and safety guidance before heading out on popular paths or public areas. 
• Kroger to shutter 60 stores in 2026. Did any close in Ohio? See locations (cincinnati.com) — Kroger is closing a King Soopers at 5050 E. Arapahoe Road in Centennial, a change that could immediately affect where many residents shop for groceries. The national chain is shuttering 60 stores across several brands after a blocked Albertsons merger and a new Giant Eagle deal, but no Ohio locations are affected so far.
• Longtime Denver-Area Electrical Contractor Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (whatnow.com) — A longtime electrical contractor serving Centennial, Genesis One Three, LLC, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection while planning to keep operating. The company, in business for nearly 18 years, reported assets and liabilities between $1 million and $10 million and expects no funds for unsecured creditors after administrative costs, leaving questions about future projects and local customer impacts.
