COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Update: <a href="https://patch.com/colorado/colorado-springs/colo-springs-airport-shooting-suspect-sought">Colorado Springs Police are seeking William Camacho Jr., 34 in connection with this shooting.</a> Colorado springs police are investigating the death of a woman east of the city near the Colorado Springs Airport and a shooting that left a man severely injured. Police responded to a call around 9:14 p.m. Sunday night in the 5100 block of Airport Road. Officers found a man with serious gunshot wounds and a woman with "obvious trauma and no signs of life," according to a statement. The injured man was taken to a hospital. Police did not identify the victim. The Colorado Springs Police Department's Violent Crimes Section assumed responsibility for this investigation, which is still underway. This is a breaking story.
