A Denver woman and a Sterling Correctional Facility guard were caught by police during an alleged drug transaction at a parking lot.

STERLING, CO -- A Denver mother nabbed by police in a Sterling McDonald's parking lot was passing drugs to a correctional officer to pass to her son, the Colorado Department of Corrections said. Lora Wilson, 64, of Denver was arrested by the Sterling Police department’s Special Enforcement Team Feb. 27, as she allegedly attempted to make a drug transaction with Sterling Correctional Facility employee Mark English, 31, of Sterling, CDOC said in a statement. The case is being investigated by the Colorado Department of Corrections Inspector General's Office.
Wilson's son, not named by CDOC, is currently incarcerated at the Sterling prison site, a press release said.
Wilson and English face felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, intent to distribute a controlled substance and first-degree conspiracy to introduce contraband.
