One person is still missing and one found dead in a catastrophic Denver fire that destroyed an apartment building under construction.

DENVER, CO -- Denver firefighters found one person dead in ruins of the construction site fire that completely destroyed an apartment building under construction and burned for about 80 minutes in Denver this afternoon at 1833 North Emerson.
Denver Fire spokesman Cap. Greg Pixley said earlier that firefighters were checking the wreckage for two missing people, but that the building was unsafe due to collapsing parts of the structure.
Construction workers were injured "jumping off the second and third floors" and others were injured "trying to catch them," Pixley said earlier. One firefighter was also being treated for minor burns.
