3 Sentenced In 2017 Denver Botched Robbery, Murder
Six adults and a 17-year-old girl were accused of fatally shooting Dominique Cozy, 24, in his home in September, 2017.

DENVER, CO – Three men of a group of six men and a 17-year-old girl accused in a botched Denver robbery that ended in a homicide pleaded guilty to murder last week.
The Denver District Attorney's office announced that Quenon Glaspy, 21, and Mikie Tarango, 21, each pleaded guilty in Denver District Court on July 12 to one count of second-degree murder. Kylan Sapp, 22, pleaded guilty on July 13 to one count of second-degree murder.
On Sep. 25, 2017, the victim, 24-year-old Dominique Cozy, was shot at his home in the 2200 block of S. Delaware Street, in what police described as an attempted robbery. Six adult men were arrested in Denver accused of being involved in the planning or attempted execution of the robbery of Cozy. A 17-year-old girl was also arrested in Houston, Texas, in connection with the crime.

No further information is available at this time, as the arrest warrants for all defendants continue to be suppressed, the DA's office said.
Savannah Leisegang, 18, pleaded guilty on June 15 to aggravated robbery and was immediately sentenced to 20 years in prison.

William Webb, 26, was charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempt to commit aggravated robbery. Tyjonn Villa, 21, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempt to commit aggravated robbery, the DA's office said. Webb and Villa are scheduled for disposition hearings on October 11.
The juvenile girl was charged in Denver juvenile court with accessory to murder.
Sapp is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 23. Sentencing hearings for Glaspy and Tarango are scheduled for Aug. 24, the Denver County DA's Office said.
