Aurora Senior Living Community’s ED is Living Out Her Heart's Desire

July 17, 2023 (Aurora, CO) – Juniper Communities, a leading provider of senior living communities, welcomes Bonnie Carbajal as the newly appointed Executive Director of Juniper Village at Aurora.

Carbajal is no stranger to Juniper. Prior to this role, she was the Business Office Manager at the Aurora senior living community. Her previous roles at other companies include 10 years as a CNA, and General Manager of Tiago Title. She is also still active as Vice President of Operations at Peak Mortgage Consultants, a company opened by her and her husband.

Bonnie Carbajal has her associate degree in business from Parks Junior College and holds Title and Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System mortgage licenses, as well as certifications in Dental Assisting and Executive Directing.

At Juniper Village at Aurora, Carbajal is living out her heart’s desire – working for and with seniors, something she realized early on that she always loved to do. She unfortunately had to leave healthcare some years ago due to an injury but has managed to find her way back.

“I love where I am and what I do. I love making people smile,” she states.

A recent empty nester, she keeps herself busy with work and most importantly, her grandchildren, Abrianna, Amaya, and Liam, who are her heart and soul. She makes sure to nurture them with fishing and camping trips.
