Broncos Cancel Practice In Response To Jacob Blake Shooting
Players around the nation have gone on strike after Jacob Blake was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

ENGLEWOOD, CO — The Denver Broncos canceled their training camp practice Thursday after Jacob Blake was shot by police Sunday in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The team made the decision to cancel their practice in a show of solidarity with professional players who are on strike around the country.
A number of National Football League teams called off their Thursday practices in the wake of the Blake shooting.
The Denver Nuggets' Thursday playoff game against the Utah Jazz has been postponed until either Friday or Saturday.

National Basketball Association players have agreed to continue the playoffs this weekend after a Milwaukee Bucks-led boycott led to the postponement of all three games that were on the slate for Wednesday.

The NBA and NFL were joined by Major League Baseball, the Women's National Basketball Association and Major League Soccer in seeing games called off Wednesday as a response to the shooting. Three baseball games, three WNBA playoff games and all MLS contests scheduled for the day were postponed.
Many Broncos players have participated in Black Lives Matter protests in Denver. Linebacker Von Miller wrote a column for TIME in the aftermath of George Floyd's death.
