Nuggets Game Postponed In Response To Jacob Blake Shooting
The Nuggets' Thursday playoff game has been postponed until this weekend.

DENVER, CO — The Denver Nuggets' Thursday playoff game against the Utah Jazz has been postponed in a show of solidarity with teams around the nation that are protesting the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Nuggets game will resume on either Friday or Saturday, the league announced.
National Basketball Association players have agreed to continue the playoffs this weekend after a Milwaukee Bucks-led boycott led to the postponement of all three games that were on the slate for Wednesday.
Bucks players did not take the floor for their Wednesday Game Five against the Orlando Magic as a response to the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The league then postponed that game, as well as two others.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said all games scheduled for Thursday will likely be postponed as well, but as of noon Eastern Time talks were underway on when teams will resume play.

Shams Charania, a reporter for The Athletic, said that while play will likely start up again this weekend, players "want to find new and improved ways to make social justice statements."
The NBA confirmed no games would be played today in a statement released on Thursday.
The Denver Broncos and other National Football League teams called off their Thursday practices in the wake of the Blake shooting.
