Capitol Hill Fatal Stabbing: New Suspect Photos Released

Denver police released two more photos of people who were allegedly involved in the stabbing death of Reese Grant-Cobb, 17, on July 1.

DENVER, CO – Denver police released two more photos of people allegedly involved in the attack and stabbing death of a 17-year-old Denver resident July 1.

Reese Grant-Cobb was attacked around 11 p.m. outside Bourbon Grill in the 500 block of East Colfax by "multiple individuals" and was stabbed. He died of his injuries. Police took one juvenile into custody and last week released images of two other males, possibly juveniles, whom they said were involved in the attack.

On Monday, police released new images of a man an a woman who were allegedly part of the attacking group. A $2,000 reward on Crime Stoppers was offered for information leading to their arrest.

Grant-Cobb's family said the young man was a star athlete at East High School, having graduated from Denver School of Science and Technology. He was headed to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he planned to study Biomedical Engineering, according to a GoFundMe site posted by family friends.

Beverly Grant, his mother, asked anyone with information about the possible suspects in Grant-Cobb's death to contact police in a television interview.

"Share information that you know about these people whose pictures are posted. Please pay that forward because this is just another thing that must be done," Grant told CBS.

The East High School football team held a vigil for Grant-Cobb July 6 at the high school's football field.

Family and friends of Grant-Cobb will be hosting a "Day of Service" on July 20, "which would've been Reese's birthday," an update on the GoFundMe site announced. More details will be forthcoming on the Mo' Betta Green MarketPlace Facebook page.
