Coronavirus Update In Colorado: 160 Cases, Over 1,200 Tested
Here's the latest update on the number of new coronavirus cases in Colorado and where they were found.
As of Monday afternoon, there were 160 cases of the new coronavirus in Colorado, public health officials confirmed. Around 1,216 people had been tested at the state lab, but many are also getting tested at private labs.
Health officials are continuing to monitor the spread of the virus and provide updates.
Restaurants and bars in Colorado have been ordered closed to dine-in patrons for 30 days, Gov. Jared Polis announced in a news conference Monday afternoon. The order was announced after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued guidance Sunday that recommended gatherings of more than 50 people should be limited over the next eight weeks.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment previously classified the cases as "presumptive positive;" however, the Centers for Disease Control has confirmed that the state no longer needs to send positive cases for confirmation, because the tests are identical.
The department said that as of Monday afternoon, it was not able to provide a county breakdown of the cases until all data have been processed. As of Sunday, this was the breakdown:
