Denver Business: Seattle Company Moving HQ To Denver

Vertafore, a technology company that offers software to insurance brokers and carriers, is getting $700,000 in incentives.

A technology firm that provides software to insurance companies and has called the Seattle area home for decades, is packing up and headed to Denver. Vertafore, which is privately owned, is moving to Denver Place on 18th starting in August.

The company is receiving $700,000 in incentives - split equally between the city and the state's Office of Economic Development and International Trade.

In return, the company will bring 500 jobs, paying a minimum of $64,800. More than 400 of the company's employees will be based in their new Denver office.

Vertafore already has about 100 employees working in the area in temporary offices. They will move to the new 90,000-square foot office.
