Denver to Host Nation's Top Prep Basketball Players This Weekend
Grind Session event will feature 11 teams, 11 games, and an impressive lineup of ESPN top 100 high school prospects

A showcase of some of the top high school basketball talent in North America is happening in Denver this weekend.
The three-day Grind Session event will be held November 17-19 at Green Valley Ranch High School (4800 Telluride Street, Denver, CO 80249).
The Grind Session is a winter circuit for 28 elite teams from all over the U.S. and Canada, including Denver’s very own Accelerated Prep. To put into perspective just how good this circuit is: over the past 10 years, nearly 2,500 participants have gone on to play at the NBA or college level, including Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray.

"College coaches are looking for players that are ready, seasoned and developed to play college basketball and our level of competition is that," said Cesar Vizcarrondo, Chief Brand Officer of The Grind Session.
"The Grind Session has taken high school basketball to new heights over the past decade, becoming the home and proving ground for the nation's best prospects and teams," added Grind Session co-founder and CEO Scott Waldrop. "We're excited about bringing our elite circuit of events to the Mile High City and look forward to a truly amazing weekend."

Accelerated Prep, assistant-coached by two-time Colorado Mr. Basketball Dom Collier, will be one of 11 teams competing in the showcase. Other participating teams include DME Academy (FL), Bella Vista Prep (AZ), Balboa School (FL), West Oaks (FL), Albuquerque Prep (NM), Colorado Prep (CO), and Canada’s Fort Erie International Academy (ON), among others.
The competition will also feature an impressive list of some of the nation’s top 100 prospects in the '24 and '25 classes, including: Prolific Prep seniors Derrion Reid (ESPN #9), Aiden Sherrell (ESPN #21) and Zoom Diallo (ESPN #25); and juniors AJ Dybantsa (ESPN #1) of Prolific Prep, Jaion Pitt (ESPN #35) of Dream City Christian, and Moustapha Thiam (ESPN #49) of DME Academy.
Admission is $15/day. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Children 6 and under are FREE.
