While every city has its share of fun activities, according to one study, Denver kids might just play harder than others.

That study comes from Spilsbury, who just found the best places for kids to have fun by judging the 50 most populous cities on a 50 point scale.

The kid-friendly criteria included the number of GameStops, arcades, children’s museums, toy stores, public parks, and theme parks per 100,000 residents. After all, these are the perfect activities to do with the family, rain or shine. And while Denver summers are like no other, winter is just around the corner.

According to the new list, Denver came in as the No. 4 most playful city for children. With the large number of GameStop locations and children’s museums, Denver beat out other tough competitors in Nashville and Phoenix.

“Myriad Gamestops, toy stores, and arcades give kids something to do in the winter months,” said Spilsbury, “while impressive city parks like Cuatro Vientos Park promise plenty of action for young adventurers.”
