Denver Officially Extends Stay-At-Home Order Until April 30

Mayor Michael Hancock has officially extended the stay-at-home order for the city.

DENVER, CO — Denver's stay-at-home order has officially been extended until April 30, Mayor Michael Hancock announced Monday afternoon. The mayor said Tuesday that the order would be extended, but a formal announcement wasn't made until Monday.

Denver's order was previously set to end April 11 — the same date as the statewide stay-at-home order.

"I know this hasn’t been easy for many, but given the current data and advice from experts about the spread of COVID-19 in our community and across the country, these are the actions that are going to get us on the other side of this curve and protect the health of as many people as possible," Hancock says in a Facebook post.
