State Rep. Jim Smallwood fired his disgruntled aide after he complained online about attending a mandatory sexual harassment training.

DENVER, CO -- After a profanity-laden social media post complaining about attending mandatory sexual harassment training came to light, State Sen. Jim Smallwood (R-Parker) fired his legislative aide Andrew Knarr, 25, Thursday.
"Mandatory 2 hour sexual harassment training," Knarr wrote on his Snapchat account in an undated post. "And they aren't even going to show me the proper way to grab a woman's a--.. This is f---g gay."
Smallwood said in a statement that he made the decision to fire Knarr "within minutes" after the screen shots of his post were made known to him.

"Andrew's actions were unacceptable and unbecoming of an employee of the Colorado State Senate," Smallwood wrote in a statement. "and I hope [Knarr] takes time to reflect and build upon this experience."
Knarr was quoted widely by Colorado Politics reporter Joey Bunch in a story about how an intern had released a two-month old confidential report accusing GOP Sen. Jack Tate of sexual harassment. Knarr's comments were described as "slut shaming" on Twitter, but they have been since edited out of the article. Knarr gained the nickname "Broservative" from critics.

Knarr, 25, told Colorado Politics his firing was an example of “textbook retaliation by Democrats,”after Democratic legislators sent images to his boss.
