Jobi Riccio to perform at Country LakeShake Festival
The Berklee student singer-songwriter from Denver will perform at the Chicago festival headlined by Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban.

Country singer-songwriter Jobi Riccio, a Berklee student from Denver, CO, performs at Country LakeShake festival in Chicago with her band on Saturday, June 22. The festival is headlined by Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, and Luke Bryan. Riccio’s band also features Berklee student Sam Leslie of Evergreen, CO.
Riccio is inspired by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, and classic country and bluegrass, and writes songs with a folk and roots sensibility. She has received acclaim for her writing, including being a finalist in the 2018 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Songwriter Showcase. She also appeared on the Women In Music Spain chapter’s compilation Sincerely, Women. Her EP Strawberry Wine came out on February 5.
The opportunity to perform at a major festival comes through Berklee’s Popular Music Institute (BPMI), which gives students important performance experience and prepares them for the evolving music landscape – where festivals are booming. Students also gain experience on-site handling promotion, production and tour management. Country LakeShake is one of six festivals BPMI artists are appearing at this summer. Others include Lollapalooza and Essence Festival.
