Juniper Village at Aurora Ends the Summer in Swinging Style

Juniper Village at Aurora Assisted Living celebrated the end of summer with two special events, a luau and a musical performance. Both events were attended by residents, families, staff and guests.

At the annual luau, dancers from the Affix Group performed and guests were draped with leis, a garland of flowers given in Hawaii as a token of welcome or farewell. Then everyone was taught how to dance a traditional luau dance.

Next up was an end of summer BBQ, featuring a peformance by Shelvis.
