Juniper Village -The Spearly Center Certified as a Great Place®

Juniper Village – The Spearly Center, part of Juniper Communities, announces it has been certified a third time (2018, 2019, 2020) as a Great Place to Work®.

Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is home to approximately 130 residents and a nearly equal number of professionals dedicated to providing person-centered, skilled long-term care and short term rehabilitation in a therapeutic community. Residents of Juniper Village at the Spearly Center are primarily people living with chronic mental illness, brain injury or neurological disorders.

This September 2020-September 2021 recognition, from the independent analysts at the Great Place to Work® Institute, involves surveys submitted to impartial evaluators. Juniper’s associates highlighted that their workplaces offer an environment where associates are given a great deal of responsibility, and include jobs that have special meaning, make a difference, create a sense of pride, and contribute to the community. Juniper associates noted the strength of the mental and emotional connection they feel toward their jobs, and most often cited their work with residents as the reason Juniper is a great place to work.

The certification process considered employee surveys from each of Juniper’s community locations. Great Place to Work®, an independent research and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. Rankings are based on all associates’ experiences, regardless of what they do. Great Place to Work® Certification is one of the most prestigious achievements for any organizations across the globe.

A total of 11 individual Juniper community locations, including the Denver location, achieved certification. Great Place to Work® certification is, most of all, recognition of Juniper’s on-going commitment to its associates. Over Juniper’s 32-year history, they have implemented programs that foster associate engagement, focus on associate life-long learning, and support associates’ work-life balance.
