Nabbed In Las Vegas: Man Charged In Fatal Denver Shooting
Denver police caught up with Francisco Gonzalez on a bus headed to California. He's charged with shooting a youth in a McDonalds parking lot

DENVER, CO -- A man has been charged with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in a west Denver McDonalds parking lot. District Atty. Beth McCann's office said first-degree murder charges had been filed against Francisco Gonzalez, 21, for the alleged shooting death Nov. 24 of 17-year-old Steve Soledad-Lopez in the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot, located in the 2800 block of W. Alameda Avenue.
The arrest indictment said the two men got into an argument after Soledad-Lopez's car allegedly hit the vehicle driven by Gonzalez. Gonzalez allegedly shot the victim and then he and friends fled the parking lot on foot and in Gonzalez's car, which he abandoned.
Gonzalez evidently tried to escape the state by boarding a Greyhound bus to California, a press statement said. Officers with an arrest warrant for his arrest took him into custody Tuesday in Las Vegas at one of the bus's scheduled stops.
