DENVER, CO — The data analytics software giant Palantir Technologies is moving its headquarters from Silicon Valley to Denver. Instead of making a formal announcement, the company quietly updated its web page and social media pages to reflect the change.

Billionaire investor Peter Thiel co-founded Palantir in 2004, and the company has since provided data analysis software to government agencies and large companies.

It's unclear how many of the company's 2,500 employees will be moved to Denver. Palantir's new address is listed at 1555 Blake St., near the 16th Street Mall.

In an interview for "Axios on HBO," CEO Alex Karp said the company wanted to make the move amid an "increasing intolerance and monoculture" in Silicon Valley. Thiel was a supporter of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and said he's received a lot of backlash in Silicon Valley for his support of Trump.
