- Denver Parks and Recreation still at odds with pickleball players. Avid pickleball players continue to claim that Denver Parks and Rec is not receptive to working with the pickleball community, and the two are at odds as the group works to bring order to the city courts they play on. (Westword)
- RiNo karaoke bar done in by diverted profits. Investors are suing the owner of Voicebox Karaoke after they discovered that the owner apparently had siphoned off $1.25 million from the now defunct RiNO location. (Local Today)
- Grocery store merger plan faces challenges from U.S. lawmakers. U.S. senators expressed skepticism about the proposed merger between grocery giants Kroger and Albertsons. "Fewer local options mean less competition to keep prices low." (FOX)
- Asteroid mining company selects Colorado for its new HQ. The Netherlands based company, Karman+, has selected Denver for relocation of its headquarters. The company plans to mine near-earth asteroids for mineral resources. Karman+ will bring 150 employees to the Denver area. (Colorado)
- Another pedestrian killed in Denver. It's been a really rough year for traffic-related fatalities. Yesterday, westbound 56th Avenue was closed at Tower Road near Peña Boulevard, after an adult male pedestrian stepped off the median into the street and a vehicle heading west struck him. (Patch)
